Our story

Yard care done the neighborly way

Lawn Ranger Landscaping was founded in 2016 by owner Jason Waters. What started as a single mower, a trailer and a handful of weekend jobs has grown into a full-service landscaping company trusted by more than 500 homeowners across the Boise area.

The idea behind it was simple: Boise homeowners deserve a lawn and landscape company that actually shows up, communicates honestly, and takes real pride in the work. From installing sprinkler systems and building new landscapes to keeping lawns mowed and trees healthy, we do it all — so your property looks its best in every season.

"I started Lawn Ranger back in 2016 with one mower and a simple belief — that if you show up on time, do honest work, and treat every yard like it's your own, the rest takes care of itself. I grew up around the Treasure Valley and I'd seen too many folks get let down by companies that didn't call back or didn't finish the job right. So I set out to be the opposite of that. Over the years we've grown from weekend mowing into a full crew handling sprinklers, landscaping, mowing and tree work all over the valley. I still get a real kick out of pulling up to a tired-looking yard and leaving it the nicest one on the street.
